“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

About Ruth
Ruth started Talk With Your Angels, many years ago, after some guidance from a friend about sharing her gifts with others and being able to help them on their own journey. Over the years, she has evolved from helping friends in need to offering her wisdom and advice to a larger audience that includes people from the Melbourne and the Greater Geelong area as well as some from interstate and overseas.
One of the most spiritually inspirational people in Ruth’s life was her Father Thomas. He was a lecturer of Nursing and a lightworker who offered his time and service to help many different people around the world. Ruth was born in England and moved to Uganda at 9 months of age when her father rescued wildlife. Ruth spent 5 wonderful years in Africa surrounded by animals that included lion cubs, deer and monkeys that the family would rehabilitate and return to the wild. After leaving Africa, Ruth’s family continued to move around the world whilst her dad offered his time and service to help many different people. As a result, Ruth has been fortunate enough to experience life in many different places including Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, Papua New Guinea, Queensland, the ACT before eventually settling in Victoria. You can read more about Ruth’s journey in the Get To Know Me blog series.
Having always been an inspiration to her, Ruth’s Father was a man who lived by example and taught Ruth a lot about being a spiritual being and reincarnation of all life. He taught her that everyone and everything is equal, no matter whether we are a fly or a human we all have souls and come from the same source. At mealtime, Ruth’s family talked about energies, what they had seen in the night or experiences they had during the day. This spiritual upbringing has stuck with Ruth and she has continued to follow her own path. She was a nurse in aged care for over 30 years and used her lightworker abilities to comfort those passing on. After finishing her nursing career, Ruth has been sought out to impart her spiritual wisdom and guidance.
Outside of work, Ruth is supported by her beautiful family who consists of her husband Geoff, her two daughters Emma and Sarah her son-in-law Adam and gorgeous grandson Thomas (named after her father). Her love of animals has continued on since her childhood and she still has a menagerie of animals at home including multiple dogs, cats and birds. In her spare time Ruth enjoys spending time in her beloved garden and all sorts of crafts including knitting (she knitted Sarah’s Wedding dress) quilting, crocheting and embroidery.
